Colin is responsible for the overall running and operation of the Max Brown Real Estate Group. He is well qualified with an extensive background of achievements in the industry at a local, State, National and International level.
Colin's career has seen many influences, from his initial 11 year period in the public sector with the Victorian State Government in Property and Administration roles, through his 30 years in the private sector in the Real Estate, Franchising and Financial Services Industry's. Along the way he has achieved numerous personal and professional milestones. He commenced his Real Estate career as a salesperson in 1989 and spent 10 years with us here at Max Brown as a Sales Manager and partner from 1990 - 2000 where he achieved in excess of 100 personal sales transactions per year on two occasions.
His 13 years with an International Real Estate Franchise Group saw him own and run 2 Franchised businesses. He progressed as part of that Group's Corporate team across 5 States in State Management and Business Development positions, to New Zealand as Acting General Manager of a 75 office network and as National General Manager of Operations overseeing regional teams managing 600 real estate offices across Australia. He had a stint in Bangalore and Delhi consulting and advising on the implementation of an Indian master Franchise. Colin also spent time as Group General Manager of a progressive St Kilda Road based Financial Services and Property Advisory Company.
Colin views the Max Brown Real Estate Group's excellent compliment of sales, property Management, specialist services and support expertise as the perfect vehicle for the future. He has a strong belief in the way business should be conducted which needs to be heavily focussed on consumer needs and expectations. In this regard, the independence and sole ownership of the Max Brown brand enables on-going decisions to be made which reflect this focus. He knows that people who are successful in this great industry have a passion for quality of service to their clients, provide the necessary routine of tasks required for success and have consistency of performance - all factors that Colin and the Team have firmly in hand.
Colin fully understands that there are many personal and economic circumstances that dictate someone's need for a sale or purchase or management of real estate - sometimes planned, sometimes unexpected.
